🍉 #WatermelonAlley, an #Instacool watermelon tunnel work of art lovingly built by Zac, @WaterValleyArts & locals of all ages.
🍉 Games, games, games for kids and grown-ups!
🍉 Booths from great local shops & organizations, including #SaveDeezNuts, a mid-south men's health nonprofit.
🍉 Homemade #icecream powered by a 1930 #JohnDeere!!! Owner Jonathan Miller says it was his momma's dream to open an ice cream shop; he and his kids are now making her dream come true 😭
🍉 Pro #BBQteam competition! These guys are called the Moonlight Smokers for good reason: Ulysses and Tim (and most of the @memphisbbqnetwork) stay up ALL night long to slowly smoke the perfect pork.
🍉 Watermelon Carnival shirts and merch are sold by the Chamber of Commerce tent by the gazebo -- stop by to get yours and wear it proudly.
The whole carnival is a labor of love from the Water Valley Chamber of Commerce. Thanks to them, the volunteers, and sponsors like @VisitMS, @MSFarmBureau, @CSpire & all the other businesses who make this such a magical weekend for the community.
