As the judges deliberated, @msuextservice expert Dr. Amanda Stone regaled us with #farmfacts about Mississippi dairy production:
Did you know there are only 65 dairy farms in the state? Their cows average 6 gallons of milk per day -- and made 15 million gallons last year. That's a lot of milk, cheese, and ice cream! Most goes directly to local schools, hospitals and grocery stores.
So add a county fair to your summer #bucketlist, go find the local #4h, and give those farmers a high-five.
They're small but mighty!
