Free for all ages, Sat. 4-7pm: blues, soul, and a perfect Delta sunset. Join us on Cherry Street in Helena, Arkansas for "Lanterns on the Levee" with:
4pm the Just Groovin' Experience is a mix of pocket soul, funk & blues from Memphis
5pm Tawanna Campbell-Berry has been leading the soul scene in Little Rock
6pm Dylan Triplett is a St. Louis prodigy blending blues, R&B and jazz into his own style -- earning his album a BMA for Best Emerging Artist

...all free thanks to the DCC, and mc'ed by Helena's fabulous singer-songwriter Justine Word.
There will be food trucks, face painting, bubbles and bouncy houses. Bringing kids? Check out the hot new splash pad, just blocks away!
3-5pm is the Grand Opening of John Goodwin's "Colors of the Blues" exhibit at the Delta Cultural Center across the street. He's the artist who designs the much-loved annual King Biscuit Blues Festival poster, and a local treasure. The opening will have food -- and John Goodwin himself, there to celebrate!
And of course down the street from 2-8pm, you can belly up to the bar at Delta Dirt Distillery for a cocktail, mocktail, or new release of "Arkansas Brown" bourbon served neat.
Bring your picnic blankets, lawn chairs, friends and family to Visit Helena, Arkansas with us. It'll be a perfect Delta day.
