Hill Country Picnic

Thumbs-up to picnicking and partying with our Hill Country friends this weekend.

The North Mississippi Hill Country Picnic has a fantastic lineup both Friday+Saturday (in comments below). Music starts at 1pm Friday and goes until midnight Saturday, and tix at the gate are cash only.

If you've never been, it's a blues classic. YES bring your own picnic blanket or lawn chair, plus lotsa bug spray, water, sunscreen, and shade.

If you're coming from the Delta, Visit Oxford along the way for brunch and fun local shopping (antique mall finds galore and Square Books ftw). Then enjoy Betty Davis Bar-B-Que for a proper Picnic dinner, and @Oxsicles popsicles for cool snacks in between.
