Craft sweet potato vodka -- distilled right behind the bar

Delta Dirt Distillery has a beautiful bar newly open to the public, but its spirits are crafted from sweet potatoes grown on a generations-old family farm.  This family-run, black-owned business is the first of its kind -- come "Sip & See" for yourself.

Yazoo Yaupon fans will appreciate the "Peach Pick" cocktail specially crafted to showcase the flavors of locally-grown yaupon tea, sweet potato vodka, and Southern peaches -- the perfect summer Delta drink.

"Sip & See" behind-the-scenes tours

"Sip & See" behind-the-scenes tours of the distillery and Williams family history are available Friday-Sunday and by appointment.

Saturday, May 22nd 3-6pm co-founder Harvey Williams is offering free tours at 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm.  No appointment necessary.  Grab a drink at the bar a few minutes beforehand and sip it on tour as you see how it was made...it doesn't get more locally-crafted than this!

"Walk it off" afterward with a self-guided tour of downtown Helena's newest and coolest murals.  The Thrive Center is offering free maps that show you where to go and introduce you to the story behind each.

What's the buzz on Cherry Street?

This small business is making a big splash!  We're so stoked they're here in the Delta...and inviting others here, too.
